TiVo Channels has significantly expanded its FAST offering across North America and Europe through a major content deal that adds dozens of channels from leading international media companies.
The service, operated by Xperi-owned TiVo, has rolled out the new channels across the United States and key European markets including the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain, as it continues to strengthen the content proposition available through TiVo OS-powered televisions and devices.
The expansion brings programming from more than a dozen content partners, including All3Media International, Banijay Rights, Sony One, DAZN, Euronews, Tennis Channel, Cineverse and Trace. New channels span genres including drama, factual entertainment, sport, news, lifestyle, anime, children’s programming and reality television.
Among the additions are All3Media channels featuring Midsomer Murders, Great British Menu and Homes Under the Hammer, Banijay-owned brands including Deal or No Deal, Fear Factor and Mr Bean, Sony One’s line-up including The Blacklist and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, as well as specialist sports content from DAZN, Tennis Channel and Free Live Sports.
Bill Neighbors, Chief Content Officer at Xperi, said: “TiVo Channels is rapidly evolving into a truly global FAST platform, bringing together premium content, trusted brands, and a seamless discovery experience for viewers. With this latest expansion across the US and Europe, and the addition of an exceptional roster of content partners, we’re giving audiences more choice, more variety, and more ways to enjoy the content they love – completely free.”
The announcement comes as TiVo continues to build both its FAST content proposition and the wider TiVo OS ecosystem. Recent months have seen the platform secure support from a growing number of streaming technology suppliers, while Apple TV was this week added to Titan OS-powered televisions in Europe and Latin America, highlighting the increasing competition among smart TV operating systems for premium content and distribution partnerships.
TiVo Channels, previously known as TiVo+, is integrated directly into the TiVo entertainment interface, combining FAST channels, linear television and streaming applications within a single discovery environment.
The expansion further underlines the growing importance of FAST services within the television ecosystem, as platform operators seek to increase viewer engagement through larger free content libraries while generating advertising revenue outside traditional subscription models.
