Turkcell has selected Bango’s Digital Vending Machine (DVM) platform to launch multi-service streaming bundles as the Turkish operator looks to strengthen customer acquisition and retention ahead of its 5G rollout.
The partnership enables Turkcell’s more than 43 million subscribers to add multiple global and local streaming subscriptions to their mobile plans through a single bundled offer. The operator says customers can save up to 40% compared with buying individual subscriptions separately.
Bango’s Digital Vending Machine allows operators to create, launch and manage subscription bundles from multiple content providers through a single platform. The system also manages the full subscription lifecycle, including partner onboarding, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations and promotional offers.
The Cambridge-based company said the platform reduces the complexity of managing multiple subscription partners while allowing operators to bring new bundled offers to market more quickly.
The agreement supports Turkcell’s strategy to expand 5G services in Türkiye, with faster mobile networks expected to drive greater demand for video streaming and other subscription services.
Paul Larbey, CEO of Bango, said: “Extensive multi-party bundles deliver exceptional value for consumers while helping partners increase engagement and retention. By joining the Bango DVM ecosystem, Turkcell can continuously evolve its offering with leading global and local content, unlocking new opportunities for growth.”
The deal extends Bango’s growing presence in the subscription bundling market, where telecom operators are increasingly using streaming and digital services to differentiate their mobile offerings and reduce customer churn.
