DAZN has extended its exclusive French broadcast rights for Italy’s Serie A by a further three seasons, securing coverage of every Serie A, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana match through the end of the 2028-29 campaign.
The agreement with Lega Serie A reinforces DAZN’s football strategy in France and complements its role as a major distribution partner for Ligue 1+, giving subscribers access to domestic and international football through a single platform.
Alongside Ligue 1+, which carries every Ligue 1 McDonald’s match and, for the first time, every Ligue 3 fixture, DAZN’s French football portfolio also includes the Copa del Rey, Eredivisie, Jupiler Pro League and Roshn Saudi League.
The platform has also added FIFA+ as a free-to-view service, offering live matches, documentaries, archive footage and original programming from world football.
Brice Daumin, CEO of DAZN France, said: “This renewal with Lega Serie A reflects our commitment to delivering an ever-richer experience for football fans in France. By bringing together Ligue 1+, Serie A, the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana, the Copa del Rey and several international leagues, we continue to strengthen one of the most comprehensive football offerings available in the French market.”
Beyond football, DAZN’s French sports portfolio includes Betclic ELITE basketball, boxing, mixed martial arts, kickboxing and LIV Golf.
During the 2025-26 season, DAZN’s French-language Serie A coverage featured commentary on every match, on-site productions for major fixtures and original programming including DAZN Stories Serie A, with presenters and pundits including Virginie Sainsily, Samuel Umtiti, Jonathan Zebina and Alain Boghossian.
