Sky Kids has acquired Paris & Pups, a new animated children’s series inspired by Paris Hilton, as part of an expanded programming slate for 2026.

Produced by 11:11 Media, HappyNest Entertainment and 9 Story Media Group, the series follows 12-year-old Paris Star and her five dogs, the “Sweetie Squad”, as they embark on adventures from their penthouse home, promoting friendship, kindness and teamwork.

Paris Hilton said the series was inspired by her own pets and family life.

“I’m so excited that Paris & Pups is coming to Sky Kids! As a Sliving Mom raising two little animal lovers, this show is so special to me. Inspired by my lifelong love for my pets and their magical adventures, Paris & Pups is full of friendship, fun, sparkle and glamazing surprises.”

The acquisition forms part of a broader expansion of Sky Kids’ original and acquired programming. The broadcaster has recommissioned its BAFTA-winning factual series Sky Kids Investigates, which will return with new documentaries examining issues affecting young audiences, including one exploring the UK’s recently announced social media ban and another examining the influence of toxic masculinity on boys.

Sky Kids is also expanding into gaming content through a partnership with US platform Tankee, offering curated Minecraft and Roblox videos designed for younger viewers.

Returning series include My Friend Maisy, The Wiggles: Ready, Steady, Wiggle!, Miffy and Friends, BooSnoo! and Pip and Posy’s Christmas Countdown.

Ian France, Head of Sky Kids Content, said the latest commissions reflected the broadcaster’s commitment to combining entertainment with educational programming.

“Building on a strong start to 2026, including another BAFTA win for Sky Kids Investigates, we’re continuing to evolve Sky Kids with a line-up that blends global names, trusted favourites and meaningful storytelling.

“With more than 150 original titles in our catalogue, a wonderful variety of acquired content and more launches still to come, we have a strong pipeline of content for young audiences while continuing to play a role in supporting the wider children’s media industry.”

The announcement comes ahead of this week’s Children’s Media Conference in Sheffield, where France is due to discuss the future of children’s television alongside industry executives.
