Zoo 55, part of ITV Studios, has announced the appointment of a new SVP Social Video, Diane Glynn. She joins the business from Channel 4 where she was Head of Social, having led the broadcaster’s social strategy and YouTube expansion. The new and pivotal role seeks to drive revenue growth across ITV Studios 100,000+ hour library of formats and non-scripted/scripted IP.

As SVP Social Video, Glynn joins the ITV Studios digital label’s senior leadership team, taking responsibility for shaping and executing the strategic vision for content monetisation across all social video platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat and other emerging platforms.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Zoo 55, Martin Trickey and working closely with COO, Graham Haigh, the role will focus on maximising existing channel performance and delivering new channels and revenue streams across all platforms, with a focus on YouTube. Glynn will also support the delivery of ITV network’s YouTube portfolio.

Trickey said: “We are so excited for Diane to be joining Zoo 55. She did an incredible job in her previous roles and her experience and passion will be invaluable as we continue to grow.”

Glynn added: “I’m delighted to be joining Zoo 55. The opportunity to drive audience growth, brand value and commercial returns from ITV’s world-class IP is incredibly exciting, and I look forward to helping shape the next chapter for the business”.

Glynn played a pivotal role in building Channel 4’s social division from the ground up. She led the development of a multi-platform growth strategy that transformed how Channel 4 reaches and engages digital audiences, delivering tens of millions of pounds in new revenue streams through digital initiatives. Prior to her tenure at Channel 4, Glynn held leadership positions including Head of Content Partnerships at ITV, Head of Content at Comic Relief, and Executive Producer for the BBC’s The Voice UK Digital.
