Telekom Srbija Group has joined the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment, extending the anti-piracy coalition’s reach in Southeast Europe.
The Serbian telco and media group operates across 15 markets and serves more than 14 million users. In addition to connectivity and digital services, it has expanded into content production, distribution and sports rights, including through its Arena Sport business.
ACE said Telekom Srbija’s membership would strengthen its regional intelligence and enforcement activity against cross-border piracy networks. The coalition, which is backed by the Motion Picture Association, brings together studios, streamers, broadcasters, sports bodies and pay-TV groups to coordinate civil action, criminal referrals and site disruption.
Telekom Srbija joins existing ACE members including Amazon, Apple TV, BBC Studios, Canal+, DAZN, Netflix, Sky, UEFA, United Media, Universal, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery.
The move comes as rights owners and platforms continue to focus on illegal IPTV and live sports piracy, particularly in markets where premium sports and entertainment rights have become an important part of pay-TV and broadband propositions.
