LG Electronics has launched LG Channels in Poland, taking the company’s free ad-supported streaming TV service to 37 countries.

The expansion comes as LG Channels passes 5,000 channels globally, underlining the increasing importance of FAST services within the connected TV and smart TV platform market.

LG Channels is now available in 17 European countries. In Poland, the service is launching with news, sport, music and entertainment channels, alongside Korean content channels including @K-MUSIC and NEW KFOOD through a partnership with NEW ID. LG said it plans to add more local channels and Polish-language support.

Across Europe, LG Channels carries content from partners including Sky, Banijay and BBC Studios, combined with local news, lifestyle, sport, documentary and reality programming.

LG said global monthly active users for LG Channels rose 30% year-on-year in 2025, while total viewing time increased by more than 45%. The company said the figures reflected growing demand for free, ad-supported streaming on connected TVs.

The service forms part of LG’s wider webOS strategy, as TV manufacturers seek to generate recurring revenues from advertising, content distribution and platform services after the point of device sale.

LG has also been expanding FAST activity in other regions. In Latin America, LG Channels is now available in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Argentina, while in India the service offers more than 150 channels.
