Channel 4 Sport adds social branded series

Channel 4 has partnered with North Sails on Force of Nature, a three-part branded entertainment series for Channel 4 Sport’s digital channels.
Produced by Finite Films & TV, the series will premiere on Channel 4 Sport’s YouTube channel on July 16, with shorter clips distributed through TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. Each episode will run for around 10 minutes.
The series features three North Action athletes competing across wind-powered sports in Portugal. Kiteboarder Cohan van Dijk, wing foiler Noé Cantaloube and windsurfer Pierre Mortefon take part in challenges based around speed, height and tricks. Commentary is provided by Channel 4 Formula 1 presenter Ariana Bravo.
Channel 4 said it is the first social branded entertainment commission to run exclusively across Channel 4 Sport’s digital channels. It follows the broadcaster’s use of social platforms around events including the Paralympic Games and EuroHockey Championships.
Force of Nature was developed through Channel 4’s Partner Lab, its in-house creative partnerships unit. Recent projects from the team include Summer Unboxed with Maisie and Joel for Boots and Jon Snow: A Last Big Story with Alzheimer’s Society.
