Glance has added NMO Total Video to its international audience analysis services, extending its coverage of the Dutch TV and video market.
The Médiamétrie-owned TV and video intelligence company will represent the Dutch measurement dataset internationally. NMO Total Video covers linear, time-shifted, streaming and on-demand viewing across TV sets, smartphones, tablets, broadcaster apps and streaming services.
NMO, the Dutch cross-media audience measurement organisation, launched Total Video earlier this year. The system combines panel data with census data from participating broadcasters and platforms, and is backed by commercial and public media organisations, media agencies and advertisers.
Patricia Sonius, managing director of NMO, said the dataset was designed to provide a reliable view of viewing behaviour across screens and devices, adding that the first operators, video companies and platforms were already participating.
The addition strengthens Glance’s international data offer at a time when broadcasters, platforms and advertisers are seeking comparable measurement across linear TV and digital video. The Netherlands has been among the European markets moving towards total video measurement as viewing fragments across broadcaster streaming services, connected TV and mobile devices.
