ITV Studios has appointed Louisa Forsyth as Vice President, UK and Ireland Sales, and Jonathan Hughes as Vice President, Germany and Benelux Sales.

Both will report to Jemma Harvey, Executive Vice President, EMEA & UK Sales and Distribution, as ITV Studios reinforces its international sales operation.

Forsyth moves internally from her role as Vice President, Global Content, Scripted. She will lead UK and Ireland distribution across pre-sales, co-productions and catalogue sales, covering ITV Studios’ library of more than 100,000 hours.

She joined ITV Studios in 2018 after 16 years at Sky, where her roles included overseeing programme acquisitions across the broadcaster’s channel portfolio. At ITV Studios, she has worked with producers including Hartswood Films, World Productions, Mammoth Screen, Monumental Television, Silverprint Pictures and Moonage Pictures.

Hughes joins from All3Media International, where he spent 10 years managing sales for German-speaking Europe, France and Benelux. His work included finished programme sales, co-productions, pre-sales and format licensing. He was involved in German co-production deals for titles including Van Der Valk, The Assassin, The Tourist, Boarders and Generation Z, and worked on regional format launches for The Traitors, Race Across the World and Gogglebox.

Harvey said Forsyth’s producer relationships and knowledge of ITV Studios made her well placed to lead the UK sales strategy, while Hughes’ track record in EMEA sales and co-productions made him “the natural choice” for Germany and Benelux.

The appointments follow several unscripted sales hires and promotions at ITV Studios, including Zack Wallace for the US and Latin America, Eliana Barbosa for Italy, Iberia and CEE, Ben Nohr for France and Germany, and Lucy Pryke for the Nordics and Benelux.
