Zana Spahiu named RTK Director General

Radio Television of Kosovo has appointed Zana Spahiu as its new Director General.

Spahiu had been Acting Director General since 2024. She joined RTK in 2010, working in the Legal Office on institutional legal matters and regulatory support, before being appointed Head of the Legal Office in 2022.

RTK said her work had included strengthening legal processes, providing legal counsel and supporting strategic decisions at the public broadcaster.

Spahiu has also worked in the creative and cultural sectors, providing legal support for film productions, audiovisual projects, copyright and intellectual property matters, artistic contracts and media-related projects.

She holds a law degree from the University of Prishtina.

RTK is Kosovo’s public broadcaster, operating television, radio and digital services.
