True Crime channel expands original slate

The True Crime channel, part of a joint venture owned by AMC Global Media UK and Paramount, has announced two new original commissions UK Forensic Breakthroughs and Deadly Destinations, alongside the return of Britain’s Countryside Killers for a third season and the television premiere of the popular true crime podcast This Much Is True Crime.

Premiering this autumn, the new series deepen the channel’s focus on original real-life crime content that examines UK cases – from forensic science-led investigations to destination-linked and internationally connected cases.


Joining the autumn schedule is This Much Is True Crime, the television debut of the podcast hosted by renowned criminologist Professor David Wilson and journalist and TV producer Martin Frizell. It premieres on September 4th at 10pm, ahead of UK Forensic Breakthroughs on September 22nd, Deadly Destinations on September 23rd and Britain’s Countryside Killers on September 24th.

UK Forensic Breakthroughs is a series examining how pioneering forensic science continues to shape major criminal investigations across the UK. Deadly Destinations explores how everyday travel can intersect with crime, where the unknown can have devastating consequences.
