Amazon is adding Luna games to the Prime Video app on Fire TV in the US and UK.

Prime members with a Fire TV can access games through a new Games tab inside Prime Video, alongside films, series and live sport. Luna is included with Prime at no additional cost, with no download or separate purchase required.

Games can be played on the TV using a controller or a mobile phone. The launch is designed to reduce friction for casual players by placing cloud games inside the same interface used for video discovery.

Jeff Gattis, GM of Gaming at Amazon, said: “Bringing Luna inside Prime Video allows Prime members to discover games more naturally, and if they see one they like, they click it and they’re in.”

The Luna catalogue available to Prime members includes Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 26 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, alongside party games such as Clue, Ticket to Ride and Taboo. Amazon said new games will be added each month.

The move also creates cross-promotion opportunities between Prime Video franchises and games. Amazon cited Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite, linked to the Masters of the Universe film on Prime Video, and Courtroom Chaos: Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, an AI-powered party game playable with phones.

The integration follows Amazon’s relaunch of Luna last year and reflects the broader move by streaming platforms to broaden engagement beyond video. Netflix has also been expanding cloud TV games and recently said monthly active players for cloud games had increased elevenfold since last October.
