A planned launch of a Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) rocket from the Scottish spaceport launch site at SaxaVord is on hold.

RFA commented: “After a successful week of testing RFA ONE on the pad for the first time, we encountered an issue with the vehicle that requires further investigation. We have made the decision to de-stack the vehicle in order to investigate. We will provide further updates as soon as confirmed information is available.”

The launch date was initially expected for around August 10th. The site is reserved for a period of five weeks and thus suggesting that a launch in September could be possible.
