UK audience measurement body Barb has appointed Jen McLevey as its new Head of Strategic Developments, a newly created role overseeing the delivery of the organisation’s major strategic and operational projects.
McLevey joins from TRP Research, where she spent 11 years and most recently served as Associate Director. During her time there she managed a range of audience measurement projects, including the development of the TRP Helix metadata and monitoring service.
Reporting to Chief Executive Caroline Davey, McLevey will act as a link between Barb’s industry stakeholders and research contractors, helping to deliver strategic initiatives while ensuring the continued quality of Barb’s audience measurement services.
The appointment comes as Barb continues to expand its measurement capabilities beyond traditional television. Current priorities include incorporating more device-level data, modernising data distribution, extending reporting across the growing range of content platforms and further developing its advertising measurement services through the Barb Ads Hub.
The move follows a broader leadership reshuffle at Barb after Davey became Chief Executive in June. At the same time, Khaled El Serafy was promoted to Director of Data and Technology, while Luca Vannini became Director of Partnerships and Communications.
