Zattoo and Teleboy have extended their long-standing partnership in the Swiss TV and streaming market, renewing both their technology and advertising agreements.
Under the renewed agreement, Zattoo will continue to provide the technology behind Teleboy’s TV streaming service and enable the marketing of Teleboy’s advertising inventory in Switzerland using Digital Ad Substitution (DAS).
The technology allows individual commercials within linear TV advertising breaks to be replaced with digital advertising. This enables advertisers to target specific audiences more precisely and control advertising frequency, while viewers continue to receive the same linear TV experience.
The partnership between the two TV streaming providers dates back to 2019.
“Teleboy has enjoyed a close working relationship with Zattoo for many years. The renewed agreement provides continuity for our advertising offering in Switzerland and greater planning certainty as we continue to develop our digital TV business,” said Victor Masopust, CEO of Teleboy.
Tina Rodriguez, acting CEO of Zattoo, added: “We are pleased to continue our cooperation with Teleboy. The renewed agreement strengthens our joint CTV offering in Switzerland and creates the basis for combining high-quality TV reach with the possibilities of digital advertising.”
