SPORTEUROPE.TV has relaunched its website as part of a broader overhaul of the European sports streaming platform.

The new web presence features a redesigned interface, simplified navigation and an expanded livestream overview, with apps and the smart TV offering set to follow.

The revamped platform is designed to make it easier for users to find live events across sports, competitions and individual broadcasts. A new livestream section includes filtering options intended to help viewers locate specific events more quickly.

SPORTEUROPE.TV offers live coverage across more than 70 sports, ranging from grassroots and youth competitions to major international events. Its current portfolio includes the US Open, European Volleyball Championships and ice hockey competitions such as the DEL, DEL2, Champions Hockey League and ICE Hockey League.

According to SPORTEUROPE.TV, the relaunch provides the technical and visual foundation for a consistent user experience across its different platforms. The company plans to apply the new design to its existing mobile apps and smart TV offering in subsequent stages.

“This product relaunch is much more than a new brand identity for us. It is the starting point for the next generation of SPORTEUROPE.TV and sets the course for our future development,” said Tim Schnabel, COO of SPORTEUROPE.TV.

The company aims to provide leagues, sports federations and individual sports with a digital home while also creating opportunities to expand internationally. Schnabel said the new platform would also provide the basis for new forms of digital marketing and commercialisation, allowing rights holders and partners to generate more value from sports rights.

SPORTEUROPE.TV is initially focused on the German-speaking DACH markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, while seeking to expand its international presence.

The platform combines premium events such as the US Open with a broad range of other sports content. Rather than relying solely on conventional long-term subscriptions, SPORTEUROPE.TV also offers pay-per-view models and event tickets, allowing users to access individual sporting events without committing to a recurring subscription.
