Prime Video in India has announced the launch of Jallosh as an add-on subscription. A dedicated offering from Everest Entertainment – a producers, aggregator and curator of Marathi content – Jallosh brings customers in India a selection of Marathi films, iconic nataks, original productions, devotional programming and more, celebrating storytelling from Maharashtra.
Titles available at launch include: Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy, Tukaram, Pawankhind, Chandramukhi, Subhedar, Maharashtra Shaheer (pictured), the Mumbai Pune Mumbai franchise, Moraya, Naach Ga Ghuma and many more.
“Prime Video’s add-on subscriptions have emerged as a compelling way for streaming services and studios to connect with audiences across India. Today, with over 30 add-on subscriptions spanning multiple languages, categories, and genres, we offer Prime members one of the widest content selections available in a single destination,” commented Gaurav Bhasin, Head – AVoD Business and Marketplace, Prime Video India. “We are delighted to welcome Jallosh to our growing lineup. Their rich library of Marathi entertainment—from movies and originals to nataks, devotional programming, and more—will give Prime members even greater choice, while bringing distinctive storytelling to a wider audience.”
Sanjay Chhabria, Founder, Everest Entertainment and Jallosh, added: “Launching as an add-on subscription on Prime Video gives Jallosh an opportunity to bring the breadth of Marathi entertainment to audiences across India. Marathi storytelling carries a creative legacy — decades of cinema, nataks, and culture that have shaped how Maharashtra tells its own stories. At Everest, our work has been about carrying that legacy forward with the same care and craft on which it was built. Jallosh brings this body of work to a single destination on Prime Video, created for audiences who value rich stories rooted in culture. This is just the beginning for us: Jallosh was built with a larger ambition, to become the definitive home for Marathi entertainment, and this collaboration is an important first step in that direction.”
Prime members can subscribe to Jallosh on Prime Video at an introductory price of ₹199 (€1.78) for one year (₹399 per year thereafter).
