BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds will have live audio coverage of the heavyweight boxing match between rising star Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgović on August 29th. The fight for the IBF title will take place at The O2, London. Ugo Monye will present the clash and will be joined by lead commentator Ronald McIntosh, as well as co-commentators Steve Bunce and former super-middleweight world champion Richie Woodhall.

Audiences will also be able to experience the fight via BBC Sport’s first-ever live boxing watch-along. Nick Peet, Team GB Olympian and unbeaten cruiserweight Pat Brown, and BoxingwithSteph‘s Steph Kamale will be live throughout the night to share their reactions to every big moment of one of the fight.

The watch-along will act as a companion to the live fight, with the trio providing their own live reaction, discussion, analysis and debate throughout the evening.

Fans can access the watch-along through BBC Sport’s YouTube channel, the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer and will be able to get involved throughout the stream with their own views, opinions and questions across BBC Sport’s digital and social platforms. The BBC Sport live text page will also offer a destination for viewers to have their say.

Alex Kay-Jelski, Director of BBC Sport, commented: “Alongside our live coverage on BBC Radio 5 Live, we’re expanding how fans can experience one of the biggest boxing events of the year. Our first-ever live boxing watch-along brings together expert voices, live reaction and fan-focused analysis, creating a new way to experience fight night.”
