Lutz Rathmann to become CEO of Riedel Communications

Lutz Rathmann will become CEO of Riedel Communications on 1 January 2027, taking overall responsibility for the company’s Product Division and Managed Technology Division as part of a wider leadership and go-to-market restructuring.
Rathmann, currently leading Riedel’s Managed Technology business, will bring the Product and Managed Technology divisions under a single leadership structure. Both divisions will retain their respective teams, expertise and market focus, while working more closely together across product development and live-production activities.
The leadership change follows the decision by Jan Eveleens, currently CEO of the Product Division, to retire at the end of 2026 after a long career in the broadcast industry.
Anthony Zuyderhoff, currently Executive Director Global Sales, will become Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and lead a newly unified global go-to-market organisation. The structure will bring sales, service, support and marketing under shared commercial leadership.
According to Riedel, the changes are intended to create a more coordinated approach to customers and partners, streamline collaboration and decision-making, and strengthen the integration of the company’s product and service capabilities.
“Our customers do not think in terms of internal structures or individual responsibilities. They expect us to understand their challenges and bring the right capabilities together,” said Rathmann. “By aligning Product and Managed Technology more closely and strengthening how we connect with the market, we can turn our combined experience into greater value for customers and partners.”
Thomas Riedel, Riedel Group CEO, added: “Lutz knows our customers, our technologies, and the realities of complex live production. Anthony brings the commercial perspective and market focus needed to translate that strength into a consistent customer experience. Together, they will help us connect our capabilities more effectively and make Riedel easier to engage with, easier to understand, and stronger in the market. I also want to thank Jan for his tremendous contribution to Riedel and am very pleased that we will continue to benefit from his expertise as a consultant.”
