Hits Now expands US entertainment lieup
September 7, 2026

Rewind Networks has unveiled slate of fresh content for its entertainment channel, Hits Now, reinforcing the network’s position as a destination for US entertainment across Asia.

Anchoring the slate will be the exclusive live broadcast of the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, bringing television’s biggest night directly to audiences across Asia. Hits Now will deliver the ceremony live, featuring the industry’s leading talent, highly anticipated awards and the biggest moments from one of television’s most prominent annual events.

The channel’s drama offering is led by a mix of high-profile premieres and established hit franchises. Academy Award, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Kathy Bates stars in Matlock, the acclaimed series inspired by the classic television series of the same name; whilst Hits Now will also premiere Wolf Entertainment’s FBI, bringing executive producer Dick Wolf’s global procedural franchise and its high-stakes federal investigations to the channel.

The lineup further builds on the success of Wolf Entertainment’s Chicago universe, with Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. returning to Hits Now with more action, heroism and character-driven drama. Also returning is Fire Country, the hit action drama created by and starring Max Thieriot, alongside its spin-off, Sheriff Country, expanding the franchise with another high-risk frontline action addition to the channel’s drama offering. Hits Now will premiere sci-fi comedy The Miniature Wife (pictured), starring Elizabeth Banks and Emmy winner Matthew Macfadyen.

In unscripted entertainment, Survivor returns for its 51st season, with the inimitable Jeff Probst at the helm of television’s long-running reality competition. The slate also features the milestone 18th season of business reality titan Shark Tank, while Gordon Ramsay returns to primetime with a new season of Hell’s Kitchen, bringing its signature combination of culinary competition and intensity to Hits Now.

Ghosts, starring Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar, will continue its successful run and Hits Now will also debut Eternally Yours, a new supernatural comedy series, created and produced by the same team behind Ghosts.

“Hits Now is built around a simple proposition: bringing the best of current US television to audiences across Asia, with the freshness and consistency that make a linear channel relevant in today’s increasingly fragmented viewing landscape. This slate reflects that strategy, combining premium scripted content and proven franchises with award-winning unscripted entertainment, comedy and exclusive live programming. We believe this combination gives our Pay TV operators, telcos and OTT platform partners a strong, diverse content proposition and reinforces Hits Now’s position as a leading destination for viewers in the region,” commented Sandie Lee, Chief Content Officer, Rewind Networks.
