Britain’s tech companies to showcase Agentic AI at IBC
September 10, 2026

At IBC 2026, RedSquid TV will lead a showcase that unites twelve UK specialists in artificial intelligence, voice technology, content discovery, interactive video and digital avatars, subscription bundling, social television, cybersecurity, energy management, edge AI and immersive experiences around one shared vision: redefining television for the Agentic AI era.

The partners are ElevenLabs, Fetch.ai, Friend MTS, FX Digital, mvmnt, Ocean Blue Software, Sceenic, Synthesia, ThinkAnalytics, Voltaware, Bango and XMOS.

While each company is recognised globally in its own field, and the majority exhibit independently across IBC, this marks the first time they have come together to demonstrate how an open ecosystem of British innovation can create an intelligent, operator-controlled television platform capable of competing with the world’s largest technology companies. Rather than presenting individual products, the demonstrations reveal how specialist technologies combine to create something far more powerful—a television platform that can reason, converse, personalise, transact and orchestrate services on behalf of the consumer.

Ceri Morgan, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Europe, in the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, said: “This showcase highlights the depth of British innovation in AI, semiconductors, software, media technology and digital services, and demonstrates what can be achieved when world-class companies collaborate across an open technology ecosystem. As Europe seeks to build globally competitive digital capabilities, partnerships that combine UK expertise with European ambition are increasingly important. Initiatives such as this show how innovation, openness and collaboration can help strengthen the wider European technology landscape, creating resilience and presenting new opportunities for businesses and consumers alike.”

Trevor Neal, Founder and CEO, RedSquid TV, explained: “This isn’t simply a collection of technology demonstrations — it is Britain’s television AI ecosystem coming together to show what the future looks like. For the first time, many of the UK’s leading innovators in Agentic AI, conversational AI, voice technology, content intelligence, advertising, commerce, subscription bundling, cybersecurity, energy management and social television are demonstrating a single, integrated vision of intelligent television. No one company can build the future of television alone, but together we’re showing how an open ecosystem can deliver an alternative to closed, vertically integrated platforms — one where operators remain at the centre of the customer relationship while consumers benefit from more intelligent, more personal and more trusted television experiences.”

Together, the participating companies are aligned on one fundamental premise: television is entering its next platform shift. Just as smartphones transformed mobile computing, Agentic AI will transform television from a device that simply displays content into an intelligent platform capable of understanding intent, coordinating services and proactively assisting every member of the household.

Collectively, the twelve companies represent every major layer of the emerging Agentic AI television stack — from autonomous reasoning and conversational AI to content intelligence, commerce, advertising, security, edge AI and social viewing. Together they demonstrate how British innovation is helping shape the next generation of global television platforms.
