Accedo has partnered with BytePlus, the enterprise technology business of ByteDance, to integrate artificial intelligence tools for content discovery, content creation and personalisation into its streaming platform.

The agreement will give Accedo customers access to BytePlus’ recommendation technology, generative AI tools including Dreamina Seedance and Dola Seedream, and the ModelArk AI infrastructure platform. The capabilities will be integrated directly into Accedo’s products rather than offered as standalone services.

The companies said the technology is aimed at helping broadcasters, pay TV operators, sports organisations and content owners improve viewer engagement by making content discovery more personalised, while also reducing production costs by using AI to generate trailers, promotional material, localised versions of content and advertising creative.

Fredrik Andersson, Co-founder and SVP Business Development at Accedo, said customers were looking for AI that could deliver benefits across the business rather than isolated applications. He said integrating BytePlus’ portfolio would give clients access to “world class AI technology” for both audience engagement and content production.

Ravi Rabheru, Global AI Partnerships and Ecosystem Director at BytePlus, said the partnership combined BytePlus’ AI expertise with Accedo’s experience serving the media and entertainment industry, where AI could improve workflows from content creation through to content delivery.

Accedo, which works with more than 400 media companies worldwide, will demonstrate the integrated capabilities at IBC2026 in Amsterdam.
