SES has launched SES CORE, a new content orchestration platform designed to give broadcasters and media companies a single interface for managing and monitoring content distribution across satellite, fibre and IP networks.
The infrastructure-neutral platform provides a unified orchestration layer that allows customers to select the most appropriate delivery path for their content while maintaining service reliability and consistent signal quality.
SES says the platform gives broadcasters real-time visibility into active content feeds, network performance and service status, while automating operational tasks and providing redundancy options to improve resilience and business continuity.
The company says SES CORE is designed to simplify increasingly complex hybrid distribution workflows, enabling broadcasters to launch new channels, expand into additional markets and adopt new distribution models more quickly by managing multiple delivery technologies through a single platform.
Deepak Mathur, President of Media at SES, said: “Broadcasters and media companies are navigating increasingly complex distribution environments, where content needs to move seamlessly across multiple networks, technologies and destinations.
“As hybrid workflows become the norm, customers are looking for simpler ways to manage that complexity while maintaining the visibility and reliability they depend on. SES CORE addresses this evolution, providing a unified platform designed for the future of content orchestration and hybrid delivery.”
SES says the platform is intended to help customers scale services more efficiently while creating opportunities for faster market launches, wider audience reach and new revenue streams.
