September 16, 2026

YouTube audiences for the PREM Rugby Cup reached more than 250,000 viewers ahead of the big kick-off in the Gallagher PREM.

The West Country clash between Exeter Chiefs and Bristol Bears in Round 2 on September 12th racked-up 158,000 viewers on the PREM digital channel – with 71 per cent of fans logged-in via their smart TV. The September 6th game in Round 1 between Sale Sharks and Bath Rugby pulled just under 100,000 viewers.

With the Gallagher PREM starting on September 25th when reigning champions Northampton Saints face Newcastle Red Bulls – with Harlequins taking on Bath Rugby the same evening – the PREM has confirmed the next three rounds of Cup picks for TV.

Host broadcaster TNT Sports will show the Round 3 PREM Rugby Cup derby between Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers on November 6th (7.45pm kick-off). All eyes will again be on Geoff Parling’s Tigers as they take on Saracens a week later on November 15th in Round 4 (1pm kick-off). And TNT Sports will screen another local rivalry as Bristol Bears host Bath on November 20th (7.45pm kick-off).

The PREM will broadcast more of the Cup on YouTube – with those match picks to be made in the coming weeks.
