Spotify now on Whale TV

Whale TV, the independent TV OS, has announced that Spotify is now available on most Whale TV-powered TV sets. The integration brings Spotify’s full audio experience — including music, podcasts, and – where available – audiobooks and videos, to living rooms around the world.

With Spotify now onboard, consumers on Whale TV devices can explore Spotify’s global library, spanning over 100 million tracks, millions of podcasts, curated playlists, and video content.


“The TV is used for so much more than just watching TV these days,” commented Lucas Huang, VP Content Distribution at Whale TV. “The biggest and brightest screen in the home is essentially the household’s entertainment hub, where video, music, and podcasts all live side by side. Bringing Spotify to Whale TV isn’t just another app launch; it’s about making big-screen audio entertainment effortlessly accessible in the living room.”

Consumers can find the Spotify app in the Whale TV app store and sign in with their existing Spotify account or create a new one directly from the TV.
