Netflix is expanding its deal with Sesame Workshop for more content from Sesame Street – the iconic, educational children’s TV brand.

The streaming platform is sending Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby and friends on their biggest adventures yet with a Sesame Street film currently in development with Rideback and Sesame Workshop.

On the series side, the deal between Netflix and Sesame Workshop has been extended to keep delivering new seasons of the show through Season 62. Viewers can also look forward to Season 57 Volume 4 arriving on November 23rd and Volumes 5 and 6 coming in 2027, plus the spin-off CGI animated series Mecha Builders will arrive on October 26th.

“We’re building a place parents can feel good about,” commented Heather Tilert, Vice President, Animation Series, Kids + Preschool. “A place filled with great stories, beloved characters, and enriching games kids will want to come back to again and again.”
