Disney+ has confirmed it will launch its ad-supported subscription plan in Austria and Poland in November.

The new Standard with Ads plan will be available alongside the Standard and Premium plans, with pricing details to be revealed soon.

Deborah Armstrong, SVP Disney Advertising EMEA, commented: “The launch of our ad-supported plan in these countries marks an exciting new chapter of growth for Disney Advertising in both Poland and Austria, with 17 markets in EMEA now offering an ad tier subscription on Disney+.  This gives our customers greater choice and, for the first time, advertisers and brands in both countries have the opportunity to connect with our highly engaged audiences across our premium streaming environment.”

“This expansion brings us to a total of 17 ad tier markets across EMEA. With thrilling new series like Marvel Television’s VisionQuest, and fresh seasons of Hulu Originals’ Rivals and Only Murders in the Building, there are fantastic opportunities for brands to connect with our exciting lineup of must-see shows and movies. A massive shoutout to all the teams who made this happen. We can’t wait to engage in some invigorating discussions with our advertisers in the coming weeks,” added Murtaza Abbas, Disney+ Sales Manager, writing on LinkedIn.

Meanwhile, the box office hit Toy Story 5 has this week debuted on Disney+.
