The long awaited showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is officially happening. The British heavyweight boxing stars will meet in the ring for the first time on December 11th at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, with the event streaming live on Netflix.
Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) and Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) have both previously headlined live boxing events on Netflix. Joshua knocked out Jake Paul in December 2025, while Fury defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov by unanimous decision in April of this year. Now, the former heavyweight champions will meet in one of the biggest all-British heavyweight fights in recent history.
“Fury vs Joshua is a fight years in the making between two of boxing’s biggest stars,” commented Gabe Spitzer, vice president of sports at Netflix. “It has the rivalry, the stakes and the scale to capture the attention of sports fans around the world.”
The matchup was officially confirmed by His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation, who added: “Two of the best heavyweights of this generation, finally in the ring together. This will be one of the biggest fights in boxing history.”
The main event fight time and a full undercard will be announced at a later date.
Ahead of the showdown, Fury and Joshua will participate in a press conference on September 30th
