beIN Media Group signs Fifty5Blue measurement deal
September 30, 2026
Fifty5Blue has been selected by beIN Media Group to design, build and operate a unified audience-measurement system across 24 markets in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The three-year agreement will bring together return-path viewing data from connected set-top boxes with usage data from beIN’s streaming platform, creating a single view of audiences across satellite television and OTT services.
Fifty5Blue will apply proprietary capping and modelling to the combined data to produce household-level insights across one of the world’s most complex multi-market, multi-platform viewing environments.
beIN teams will access the resulting insights through AdvantEdge, the audience-analysis platform from TechEdge, Fifty5Blue’s dedicated software arm. AdvantEdge will provide self-service access to viewing behaviour, content performance, audience profiles and trends, helping teams turn complex cross-platform data into clear, actionable insight.
Stuart Wilkinson, Managing Director, Business Development, Fifty5Blue, commented: “Viewing no longer fits neatly into separate television and streaming categories, so measurement cannot either. By connecting set-top-box and OTT data, this partnership will give beIN a clearer and more consistent understanding of audiences across the region. We are proud to bring together Fifty5Blue’s audience measurement expertise and TechEdge’s software capabilities to deliver a solution built for the scale and complexity of the MENA market.”
Jad Chaaban, Manager of Corporate Sales, beIN MENA, added: “Fifty5Blue combines extensive international experience in audience measurement with the technology and expertise needed to connect viewing across platforms. Its understanding of the specific dynamics of individual markets is equally important, ensuring that the best global practices are adapted to local needs. Appointing Fifty5Blue as our audience measurement partner will strengthen our audience insights and provide beIN with a more comprehensive and consistent view of viewing behaviours across the region.”
