Asia: beIN extends Wimbledon rights through 2031
October 9, 2026
beIN Asia Pacific has confirmed a new long-term deal with The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) for the exclusive broadcast rights to The Championships, Wimbledon across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong from 2027 until 2031.
The agreement expands beIN’s long-standing relationship with the AELTC and follows the recent renewal of Wimbledon rights across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) through 2030.
From 2027, tennis fans across Brunei, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand can watch live and exclusive coverage of every match from Wimbledon on beIN Sports and beIN Sports Connect.
The new agreement further strengthens beIN Sports’ global tennis portfolio, with exclusive rights to all four Grand Slam tournaments in MENA, while also serving as the exclusive broadcaster of Wimbledon in France.
Mike Kerr, Managing Director of beIN Asia Pacific, commented: “Wimbledon is one of the most prestigious and historic sporting events in the world. It transcends tennis. It’s a cultural moment, and we’re proud to bring The Championships exclusively to audiences across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong. Tennis is a key pillar of our portfolio, and we have continued to grow audiences by bringing fans closer to the sport’s biggest tournaments, players and moments. This agreement reflects our long-term commitment to the sport and our shared ambition with the AELTC to build on Wimbledon’s strong connection with audiences here, deepen engagement across the region, and drive the next phase of growth together.”
Paul Davies, Associate Director, Broadcast, Production and Media Rights at the All England Club, added: “We are absolutely delighted to extend our long-standing partnership with beIN Media Group, building on years of exceptional coverage of The Championships across France and MENA. Welcoming Southeast Asia and Hong Kong to beIN’s portfolio marks an exciting new chapter in our relationship. By leveraging the strength of beIN’s premium linear channels and advanced digital platforms, we look forward to deepening fan engagement, growing audiences, and bringing the unique magic of Wimbledon to more tennis fans across Asia than ever before.”
