beIN Asia Pacific has secured exclusive broadcast rights to The Championships, Wimbledon across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong in a five-year agreement beginning in 2027.
The deal with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) will bring live coverage of every match to beIN SPORTS and its streaming platform, beIN SPORTS Connect, in Brunei, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
The agreement extends beIN’s long-standing relationship with the AELTC, following the recent renewal of its Wimbledon rights across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) through 2030.
Mike Kerr, Managing Director of beIN Asia Pacific, said: “Wimbledon is one of the most prestigious and historic sporting events in the world. It transcends tennis. It’s a cultural moment, and we’re proud to bring The Championships exclusively to audiences across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.”
Kerr added that tennis remained a key pillar of beIN’s sports portfolio, with the broadcaster continuing to grow audiences through coverage of major international tournaments.
Paul Davies, Associate Director, Broadcast, Production and Media Rights at the All England Club, welcomed the expansion of the partnership.
“Welcoming Southeast Asia and Hong Kong to beIN’s portfolio marks an exciting new chapter in our relationship,” he said.
“By leveraging the strength of beIN’s premium linear channels and advanced digital platforms, we look forward to deepening fan engagement, growing audiences, and bringing the unique magic of Wimbledon to more tennis fans across Asia than ever before.”
The acquisition adds Wimbledon to beIN’s existing tennis portfolio in Asia, which includes the Australian Open and Roland-Garros.
Elsewhere, beIN holds exclusive rights to all four Grand Slam tournaments across MENA and is also the exclusive broadcaster of Wimbledon in France.
