October 13, 2026

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) has announced the appointment of Joe Setley as Senior Vice President, Products & Digital Media, reporting to President Lenny Daniels.

Setley will lead MVP’s digital products and media strategy across the company’s portfolio of combat sports properties, overseeing social media, website, mobile app, newsletters and the company’s content library. In his role, Setley will focus on growing MVP’s global audience, creating new ways for fans to engage with MVP and its athletes, building the digital presence and brands of MVP fighters, and developing new digital products and revenue opportunities.

Setley joins MVP from Top Rank Boxing, where he served as Head of Content Strategy and Programming. During his tenure, Top Rank’s social audience grew from five million to nearly 30 million followers. He also developed new digital revenue opportunities, expanded Top Rank’s content across emerging platforms and led social coverage for some of boxing’s biggest global events.

“Joe joins MVP at a pivotal moment as we continue building the next phase of our company following our merger with PFL,” said Nakisa Bidarian, CEO of MVP. “MVP has disrupted the combat sports landscape by embracing the next generation of fans and meeting them where they discover, consume and engage with content. Jake Paul has been a catalyst in connecting with Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences, and as our global fan base continues to grow, we’re committed to building a digital ecosystem that brings fans closer to our athletes than ever before. Joe’s expertise will be instrumental as we continue expanding our reach to new demos, building the brands of our nearly 400 athletes, creating new digital products and experiences, and further establishing MVP as the most innovative combat sports company in the world.”

“Joe has established himself as one of the leading digital executives in combat sports, with a proven ability to build audiences, develop new products and create new revenue opportunities,” commented Lenny Daniels, President of MVP. “He understands how content, technology and business can work together to bring fans closer to the athletes and events they care about. His experience will be critical as we continue investing in our digital platforms, creating more value for our athletes and giving fans more ways to engage with MVP beyond fight night.”

“I’ve watched Jake, Nakisa and the MVP team disrupt combat sports over the past several years, building some of the biggest events in the sport, reaching record-breaking audiences and changing the landscape of women’s boxing,” added Setley. “Now, with nearly 400 athletes across boxing and MMA and the ability to reach fans around the world through the biggest global platforms, the opportunity ahead is enormous. I’m looking forward to helping tell the stories of this incredible roster, grow their audiences and create new digital products and experiences that bring fans closer to MVP and its athletes.”

Prior to Top Rank Boxing, Setley spent nearly four years at UFC, where he helped launch and grow the organisation’s presence across emerging platforms, including TikTok, while developing new platform partnerships and revenue opportunities. His career also includes roles with the Philadelphia 76ers and LA Galaxy.
