Netflix has announced that it will exclusively broadcast every match of the FIFA World Cup 2030 to subscribers in Spain and Andorra. It marks the first time the streaming giant will host action from the world’s biggest football tournament.

With defending FIFA World Cup 2026 champion Spain serving as one of the competition’s three host nations — alongside Morocco and Portugal — Netflix will feature full live coverage of the tournament, including a daily roundup show on match days, and additional programming in the tournament lead-up.

“Few events unite people like the World Cup,” commented Bela Bajaria, Chief Content Officer at Netflix. “I was in the stands this year as Spain lifted the trophy and witnessed the passion, the pride, the stories — they all become part of a nation’s culture and are remembered for generations. With Spain set to host in 2030, we’re thrilled to bring every match to fans across Spain and Andorra on Netflix.”

The 2030 FIFA World Cup kicks off June 8th 2030, and concludes on July 21st 2030. It will marks the 100th anniversary of the tournament. To honour the anniversary, Uruguay (the 1930 host and champion), Argentina (the 1930 runner-up), and Paraguay (the home of CONMEBOL, the only confederation in 1930) will each host a centenary celebration match.

“We are pleased to build on our partnership with Netflix as we look ahead to the FIFA World Cup 2030,” added Mattias Grafström, FIFA Secretary General. “This will be a special edition of the tournament, and we look forward to working together to bring it to fans across Spain and Andorra. Our shared ambition is to bring fans closer to the game and enable as many people as possible to share in the excitement of the competition.”

“For Spanish football fans, welcoming the world as reigning champions on Netflix will make this a moment unlike any other,” Bajaria continued. “And our expanding partnership with FIFA, including the Women’s World Cup in 2027 and 2031 for the US and Canada, reflects our continued commitment to bringing fans closer to the world’s biggest sports moments.”

Netflix will also be the exclusive home of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in the US and Canada in 2027 and 2031.
