Titan OS has signed a distribution agreement with Plaion Pictures, adding film, music and seasonal FAST channels to its connected TV offering across 42 European territories.

The line-up includes movie channel Moviedome, rock music service Metal.Rocks and festive film channel Weihnachtskino.

Distribution covers Titan OS-powered Philips, JVC and Sharp smart TVs, alongside selected Sony Android devices carrying Titan Channels. Markets include the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland and the Nordics.

Recent additions to Moviedome include Morning Glory, starring Rachel McAdams; The Lovely Bones, featuring Saoirse Ronan; The Score, starring Robert De Niro; and Body of Evidence, featuring Madonna.

Metal.Rocks offers a music video-led schedule focused on rock, while Weihnachtskino provides seasonal viewing.

“Our goal at Titan OS is to improve content discovery for the audiences while delivering a balanced mix of local and international entertainment,” said Rick Fens, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Titan OS.

Hauk Markus, Director of FAST/AVOD Business at Plaion Pictures, said expanding distribution through Titan OS was a natural step as the European FAST market develops.

“From movie favourites on Moviedome and rock classics on Metal.Rocks to festive holiday viewing with Weihnachtskino, this partnership allows us to reach connected TV households with high-quality experiences,” he said.

The agreement extends Plaion Pictures’ digital distribution activities, which also include Amazon subscription channels and a network of feature-film channels on YouTube.
