U2 booked for Netflix’s NFL Thanksgiving Eve game
October 21, 2026

NFL Thanksgiving football starts a night early in 2026, and Netflix has set the table with a halftime performance from Irish rock band U2.

The 22-time Grammy Award winners and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will celebrate their 50th anniversary together as a band with a special show during the NFL Thanksgiving Eve Game, which sees the Green Bay Packers facing off against the Los Angeles Rams.

“There’s a reason U2 has headlined stadiums for decades: they don’t just perform, they deliver iconic moments audiences remember forever,” commented Ted Sarandos, co-CEO of Netflix. “We’re thrilled that they’ll bring that same magic to the NFL stage on Netflix. It’s going to be an unforgettable night for football fans and Netflix members worldwide.”

On November 25th, coverage begins at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT, with the Packers and Rams kicking off at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT live from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

U2’s NFL Thanksgiving Eve performance continues a tradition of marquee halftime entertainment on Netflix’s NFL broadcasts. Netflix’s first Christmas Gameday in 2024 featured international superstar Beyoncé at halftime of the Baltimore Ravens vs Houston Texans, and in 2025 Snoop Dogg brought Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party to the Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings Christmas Day game.
