Eurosport and TNT Sports will carry more than 1,800 hours of winter sports programming during the 2026–2027 season, with HBO Max offering additional ways to follow overlapping events.
The schedule spans 126 days of live action between October and April, covering 123 World Championship and World Cup titles across 12 sports.
Coverage begins with the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup in Sölden, Austria, on October 24–25. The Ski Jumping World Cup follows in Lillehammer on November 20–23, with the Biathlon World Cup starting in Kontiolahti, Finland, on November 26–29.
HBO Max will offer Multiview for selected overlapping major events, allowing subscribers to watch up to four live feeds on one screen. Its Key Moments feature will help viewers navigate to highlights within coverage, while selected events will also offer commentary in multiple languages.
The features were integrated into the app ahead of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics and will be available for selected events during the new season.
“As the home of winter sports, we will cover every story on snow and ice this season with more live action, additional programming and new experts bringing fresh perspectives,” said Scott Young, EVP EMEA Sports at Eurosport and TNT Sports.
The presentation line-up includes British alpine skier Dave Ryding, alongside Olympic champions Tina Maze, Jean-Pierre Vidal, Martin Schmitt and Viktoria Rebensburg.
The expanded schedule follows reported audience growth across television and streaming. According to figures released with the announcement, Milano Cortina coverage attracted three times as many streaming subscribers on HBO Max as watched Beijing 2022 through discovery+. Hours viewed on Eurosport and TNT Sports increased by 50% over the same comparison.
Outside the Olympics, the broadcaster reported a reach of 86.5 million across its platforms during the previous winter sports season. It said 35% more subscribers watched winter sports on HBO Max than in the preceding season, with audience increases for ski jumping, alpine skiing and biathlon.
