Netflix has unveiled We Go High, a Korea’s K-pop girl group audition project, set at an arts high school.

The series will aim to capture the passion of arts school students striving to reach new heights and bring their talents to a bigger stage. Representing top arts high schools across Korea, talented students will face off against formidable rivals while building the kind of chemistry it takes to become a group.

Netflix said the project is expected to broaden K-pop’s global fandom and bring together a girl group chosen through the eyes of the world. Entertainment producers Park Jin-kyung and Lee Jae-seok of Monsterahaus will direct and produce the series.

To provide continued support for the girl group formed through We Go High, Netflix has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SM C&C for mutual collaboration to foster the group’s ongoing growth and activities beyond their debut. Applications are open now.
