Travelxp has launched its 4K HDR channel on Magenta TV in Austria, with programming delivered in Dolby Vision.
The travel and lifestyle broadcaster’s dedicated German-language feed is available on channel 228 in the platform’s documentary section. It is included in the TV-L package and accessible through Magenta’s 4K/HDR Android TV box.
Announced at Mipcom in Cannes, the agreement marks Travelxp’s entry into the Austrian market and extends its European distribution.
The channel carries original travel, food, culture and adventure programming produced natively in 4K HDR. Travelxp’s production library includes programmes filmed in more than 70 countries.
Sumant Bahl, Managing Director of Travelxp Europe & Africa, said: “We are delighted to partner with Magenta TV Austria and bring Travelxp 4K HDR to Austrian audiences.”
He added: “Through Magenta TV, viewers can now discover some of the world’s most remarkable destinations in native 4K HDR enhanced by Dolby Vision.”
Travelxp says its programming is available in 27 languages and reaches more than 200 million households across over 100 countries through pay-TV, telecommunications and digital platforms.
