October 27, 2026

Little Dot Studios, a multi-platform production company, social media agency and digital media network, has announced a new YouTube channel and podcast with Rachel Riley to reveal the maths behind everyday life.

The Maths of Everything offers audiences expert-led content that dives deep into the numbers and formulas that underpin our lives and the world around us.

Released 52 weeks a year, the YouTube channel will launch with one episode per week and will feature a number of formats including a 30-minute explainer show, breaking down the mathematics and statistics behind diverse topics from space travel and nature, to ancient history and fast food. In other shows, Riley will welcome guest interviewees, reveal surprising data about our everyday lives and demystify the some of the most intimidating of equations.

The channel has partnered with National Numeracy to support everyday maths skills and its message around the importance of maths in daily life. R

Riley commented: “Popular science and popular history have built huge audiences online, and maths deserves its moment too. That’s exactly why we’re launching The Maths of Everything. Maths is so much bigger than what we remember from school. It’s fun, it’s fascinating, and it’s full of surprises. This channel puts entertainment first, and you’ll learn loads along the way. I’m delighted to be part of Little Dot’s network, and having National Numeracy as our launch partner means we’re spreading a vital message: maths is for everyone.”

Alex Hryniewicz, Managing Director, Network Social Platforms at Little Dot Studios, added: “The launch of this new show delivers compelling, creator-led content to digitally-native audiences. Our network of over 250 social channels provides us with exceptional data, giving us a deep understanding of the types of educational, entertaining content that deliver commercial value. Maths is an integral part of everyday life, so this show sets out to answer everyday curiosities like how to book the cheapest holidays, to more complex topics like the maths of space travel. We couldn’t be happier to partner with Rachel Riley to bring The Maths of Everything to life and amplify fresh, original content across the complex media landscape.”
