S4C’s children’s content is now available via a dedicated area on BBC iPlayer, across the UK.

Content from Cyw and Stwnsh – two major Welsh-language children’s television programming blocks – are available as individual categories within the children’s section of the BBC iPlayer homepage. S4C’s children’s content is also available on Cyw Tiwb, S4C Clic and YouTube Kids.

Content currently available on tfrom Cyw includes a new season of Deian a Loli released as a box set, as well as seasons 1-5, alongside episodes of Bendibwmbwls, Blŵi, Caban Jam Gareth, Ger a Gu, Pum Munud o Lonydd, and more.
On Stwnsh, programmes include Mabinogiogi, Aberfan: Arwyr ein Cwm, Newyddion Ni and Tekkers, as well as cartoons such as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Lego DREAMZzz and The Smurfs – all dubbed in Welsh.
Sioned Geraint, S4C’s Children and Learners Commissioner, commented: “It’s wonderful to be able to invite more children than ever before to enjoy Cyw and Stwnsh content across a variety of platforms. The fact that S4C’s children’s content is now available on iPlayer across the United Kingdom means that more children and families will be able to enjoy content in the Welsh language.”
Geraint Evans, S4C’s Chief Executive, added: “Increasing the visibility of our content is a priority for us at S4C, and ensuring Welsh-language series are prominently featured on the iPlayer children’s profiles is a key step as we continue to grow our audiences. Our new partnership with BBC iPlayer has already driven remarkable growth in viewing figures for S4C content, with a 25 per cent increase in monthly users this year. We hope this latest development will lead to a similar increase in the popularity of our children’s service.”
