Doğan Holding, the Turkish conglomerate, will sell Romanian national TV service Kanal D to Clever Group in a transaction valued at a total of €109 million.

The deal was signed with Romanian Content Project SRL and Clever Media Network and remains subject to regulatory approvals.

Doğan Holding, which owns the media group operating Kanal D, Kanal D2 and Radio Impuls in Romania, disclosed the transaction value in a notice submitted to Turkey’s capital markets disclosure platform.

The acquisition will expand Clever Group’s Romanian television presence, which already includes Prima TV, Prima News and the Prima Sport channels.
