Software info

Hi everybody
I recently bought a Starsat SR-X50CU USB receiver, but the saleman said that the software loaded in it is some kind of Golden Interstar. When i try to load by usb,the latest starsat soft, i get an error message. I cannot load the latest interstar soft, because I dont know what version I have. Is there any way to know what kind of software is loaded in the receiver?
How can I turn back to X50CU? (Or its better the interstar?)

I found that i have the GI-S770CR, version, but I cannot get to the smartcard menu. It doesnt open any channel even with the latest firmware.
I tried the master pin code 2142, but still no chance,
Is there any other master code?
