The Polish alternative carrier Telefonia Dialog has said it plans to unveil a new strategy in Q3 this year, designed principally to make it the leading competitor to the France Telecom-backed incumbent telco TPSA.

In a wide-ranging interview in the local press, Telefonia Dialog’s president Piotr Mazurkiewicz refused to give a date for a proposed IPO but said that its current owner KGHM ultimately plans to sell the company.

Telefonia Dialog’s current strategy, in effect since last year, envisaged that it would have around 390,000 subscribers by 2011, some 16% of who would receive triple play services. However, the company has yet to add IPTV to its broadband internet and telephony offer.
