ird2 cards not working with cccam and smargo smartreaders

Hello everybody

I have a newcs server on windowsXP with 4 local cards itv, n*ova, mct and l*v+alfa. Now i setup a puppy linux pc and bought some smargo smartreaders and i am trying to switch to cccam.
The itv (cryptoworks) and the mct (viaccess) work perfect. The other 2 cards which are irdeto2 are not working. I can see in the web interface of the cccam that only one of them is recognized and although in the infobar of the DM7025 shows that is connected to the server (the I is green) the screen is black with no voice. On the server i can see that the user is connected and is watching the right channel.
Any help will be appreciated.

Could you share with us your findings? I use 1 smargo and i get the same problem (black screen)...Infobar shows me that channels are being unlocked...

Hello guys
I solved my problems by installing the Ubuntu desktop 8.04 distro. Now it works perfect with no problems.
I found some installation guides in another forum. You can install it on Ubuntu or Debian or Clarkconnect with the same good results.

Well that's quite bollox as explanation, you probably just had to install a decent LIBCRYPTO version to get it working in the first place....
