The best way to up-date the TM series is with an RS232 Null modem cable, (and only a Null modem cable) The RS232 connects to the rear of the receiver and the other end (depending if you have an RS232 or USB) to your PC. You will require a TM Loader. I use the "Darkman_TMLoader_187". Using this you can up-date both patches/ChanLists/ and or (softcam) Keys. With the remote control, you can insert current "Biss" keys" which may last a few minutes to several days. Some people use a USB mass storage unit" but, there are times when only a Null modem cable will work.

there are various models and only the correct patch will work or even load on your model

first download and open the zipped folder and remove the patch [a small square with a small yellow face on it]. put the memory strick in the computer usb port and then transfer the patch file to usb memory stick,
then insert into usb on the tm receiver then turn the receiver on, [ you can leave the receiver on any channel or satellite] when loading software ,patches or softcams etc: next you do the following, you press the usb button on the remote and enter the pin. 0 0 0 0> on the next screen go to data transfer and click>ok and you will see the file, ie: [the patch file
or softcam etc:] your going to load you now click >ok on the file, and th patch etc will load you will see this on the tv screen, from now on you dont do or touch anything and wait untill the download has fully
loaded and the receiver has re-booted [turned off and on again] and the channel opens.now remove your memory stick and you should now have the patch installed and have the channels open to view
