checking upgrade to v2.3

Hi,does anyobody know how i can check that my cam has been upgraded successfully to v2.3 i thought it had done so ok but i,ve started getting a message again from the cas2+ saying i am still on v2.2 and i can upgrade if i want to!! im a bit confused!

I had the same message with cas3, but I am still at version 2.2 and I was able to put Stealth 2.53.

I think that bigpeate was refering to the Rev 2.2 / 2.3 and not so much the Stealth version. Rev2.3 has room for Conax (i.e. Underworld), which the older Rev2.2 don't. Not that, that would (or could), actually stop you from loading Underworld on you Diablo. It just means that Conax will not work. And if further roumer are to be beleved (personaly I doubt 'em though), Rev2.3 will soon get an update to use 802.11x (e.g. Wi-Fi).

At present the Diablo (Wireless), uses some 802.xx (I can't recall) variant called ZigBee, that is NOT compatible with 802.11x

To bigpete: I'm affrade you'll have to either use a CC and the Software provided, or see if your Dealer can run the Update for you. All these so-called updaters are sadly for the moment fake!!

This is the official update from Duolabs (€30) i just need to check that i have v2.3 and not still v2.2

just realised there is cam info on diablo menu and this says 2.3 so i assume update was successful!

Well to anyone who may still be in doubt as to the Rev of the Dablo CAM, just give the current CAS Studio (v8.4) a whill!

Sorry I'm not bigpete, but you can find the "CAM Info", by going to the CAM Settings on your STB. It'll be the last option "CAM Info"
