The implementation of some unknown maprom routines from deep inside the rom102 has made it necessary
To "slave" or "aux" the card similar to what was done with emulation during the H and Hu days.

This is being done while a cardless solution is worked on.

While we know that not everyone has an "open" Rom102 to aux, the CoolSat hackers decided that at least a partial solution is better than no solution.

Borrowing some test code from a very talented card coder (We will leave his/her name out for anonymity sake)
We have implemented an "aux" card that is completely safe from the stream so there are no worries about the Card receiving any damage from malicious code.

Testers can get this working now by writing the "AuxCard.bn102" to an open rom102 and inserting it into a
CoolSat receiver that has a card slot that is active, along with reprogramming the stb with our new code.

The CoolSat hackers that collectively hacked the box and have now implemented an "aux" card want the folks with CoolSat receivers to know that if there is a way to provide a solution, short or long term, it WILL be done.

These file are presented "as is" and is untested by me...I do not own a coolsat and make no claims as to the condition of this file. I have however heard that it does work. Use at your own risk.

First off coolsats do not ship with a card reader, you have to buy one and it's about 69.00 U.S.D. second you need an open rom102 card to go in that slot.....This is not a fix..it only enables you to run dishnetwork and bellexpress vu on your coolsat. A rather costly temp fix I'd say. Only benefit I can see from this is that you do not need two receivers to watch either dish or bev. I'd wait guys. Here are the NORWEST 125 for the 5000 and 6000. But like I said I'd wait. Hope this clears things up. Cheers!

Magnum rom103 auxcard bin for the extremeview magnum and coolsat.
Now you can use an open programmable rom103 as an auxcard.

Not a cardless fix

This will allow users to incert there unlocked 102 card into the Coolsat X2 card reader and by using this option you can program your card with the AUX file without the need of a iso card reader. I hope this will save you money on getting your Coolsat going

Click Menu
Press ok on cas and slot 1 will highlight.
Press 8282
When the aux screen comes up press ok once to aux your card.
Have your unlocked card in the X2 card reader.

Remember this will only work on a UNLOCKED card.
Beware of clone coolsat card readers as they will not work with the coolsat system. Buy only X2 cardreaders

Aux 103 Bin

A coolsat 4000 clone safe bin for coolsat clones.
Jvvh5897 modified the norw_127 bin to work on clones.
Autorolls the keys, still needs a cardreader/rom102 like
the original norw_127.Tested by jvvh5897 on a coo coo.
Also works on a genuine coolsat 4000 pro.
