Hello all!

I am new to the boards and satellite systems. I have done some searching on the site but would like to open up a chat with a few of you veterans. I am looking for some advice on what receiver to pick up along with a few other questions. My setup would be in the states.

Here is what I would like to do with the system


I am looking for something programmable to pick up dish network.

Dual dishes. one for east coast and one for west coast feeds.

HDTV with mpeg 4 support is a must. x264 is a plus.

Duel tuners and pvr would be nice.

Auto upgrade via Ethernet would also be nice.


I also was wondering what lnb to go with for a two dish setup like this.
