Key Editor in Vista

Anybody know how to set up the key editor in Windows Vista (32bit)? It can be done as I managed to do it before. Just had to do a reinstall and Vista is not playing nice at all. I tried all the compatibility modes and none worked. Is there a newer program for getting softcams and tps.bin files onto a SR-X3200CU that is more Vista friendly? TIA falconcy

Now here's something really weird. I eventually gave up and over an hour later, the install program suddenly started working and installed the program. It now works fine again
